Kim Kardashian pays touching tribute to Virgil Abloh
American reality TV star and entrepreneur, Kim Kardashian West, is simply not herself following the death of Ghanaian-American fashion designer Virgil Abloh.
Virgil Abloh died aged 41 on Sunday in Chicago after a private battle with cancer.
Until his death, he was the creative director of Louis Vuitton (2018 till death) and was credited with being the visual artist who designed some of the world’s iconic albums covers.
Aside being a fashion designer, Abloh was also a disc jockey and architect.
In her Instagram post seen by African Entertainment, Kim could not fathom why “so many pure souls” like Abloh die so young.

She wrote: “It’s simply hard to understand why. I have a hard time understanding why so many pure souls were taken away so early.
She continued: “Virgil – you were always so gentle, kind and calm. You somehow made time for everyone. We also talked about your superpower of calmness often. You always gave so much of yourself to the world because you wanted it to be doper.”
Referring to Abloh’s death, she stated that “this is hard to process. I can’t even believe I am writing this. We will miss you so much Virgil and love you so much.”
She added “Also I would love to send much love to his wife Shannon. Because you loved and supported Virgil the way that you did, he was able to give so much of himself everyone else.”
